Pharmacy Technician
Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, Missouri is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join our staff at our Senior Pharmacy - someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.
Position Details

- Work Shift: Evenings and Weekends
- Hours: Varies
What Your Day Looks Like: Senior Pharmacy is a long-term care pharmacy that provides exceptional and safe care for our patients. Our team works closely with providers, nursing staff and other facility staff to ensure our residents and patients receive the highest quality of care and live their best lives.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be:
- Entering new prescription orders, refill requests, and patient profile updates into the pharmacy computer system
- Assisting the Pharmacist with communication to patients and providers
- Preparing and labeling medications for dispensing
- Coordinates directly with facility nurses, billing supervisors, and delivery drivers to ensure timely medication cycles and resolve delivery issues
- Assuring adequate supplies of medications are available
- Delivering meds to patients, nursing units, and LTC facilities
Qualifications
- Education: HS diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: Hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Skills: Customer service, computer proficiency, and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information relating to the needs of individual patients
- Licensure/Certification: Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Missouri upon hire
- Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
