Will eventually be in the on-call rotation but not initially Pay Rate: $18-21.00 per hour JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSEThe Pharmacy Technicians positively impacted patients’ lives by providing high quality services.The Pharmacy Technician I, under direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist, measures medications and assists in the compounding of medication, prepares and assembles supplies and medication for delivery, maintains patient records, and utilizes administrative and clinical knowledge to assist Pharmacists as they provide medication and other health care products to patients.The Pharmacy Technician II, under direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist, performs those duties deemed acceptable by the State Board of Pharmacy including communicating with patients about supply and deliveries of medications, processing refill prescriptions and documenting in the patients’ records. This position assists in the preparation of IV medications and supplies for patients and maintains a clean and organized pharmacy.The Pharmacy Technician III, under direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist, compounds medication, communicates with patients about supply and deliveries of medications, coordinates continuation or discontinuation of services, processes refill prescriptions and documents in the patients’ records.
