Remote Certified Pharmacy Technician openings with a Major Health Plan in the state of California! Starting ASAP!! Apply now with Silvana M. at A-Line!!!Fully Remote but candidates should live in CaliforniaPay: $19 - $23/hourSchedule:10-7pm and 11-8pm and 12-9pm shift. Shifts may also vary and start after 12pm noon.Every 5-6 weeks during training, they’ll work a SaturdayEvery 5-6 weeks once they’re up and running, they’ll work a Saturday or SundayExpect to work on holidays.Peak volume times are in the mornings- Jurney is putting the temps in earlier times.*MUST HAVE 90 day open availability-free schedule. Duties:Track and triage coverage determination requests submitted from providers and determine if a pharmacist review is requiredObtain verbal authorizations and request detailed clinical information from prescribersApprove coverage determination requests based on defined criteriaEnter and document coverage determination request decision into the PBM system and notify providers and/or membersRespond to client inquiries regarding authorization approvals and PBM on-line applicationsRefer coverage determination requests for specialty drugs to delegated vendor or client for processingContact providers for additional information to facilitate coverage determination reviewsNotify physicians, providers and members of coverage determination request decisions. Job Requirements:Current state’s Pharmacy Technician license and National Certification from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT).Prior authorization experience (CVS)-preferably 1-2 yearsHigh school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of retail, hospital or mail order pharmacy experience.
