The Pharm Tech II will support medication management in the Ambulatory Surgery Centers and ambulatory areas.
Responsibilities include:
Performing basic pharmacy technician duties.
Works under the supervision of registered pharmacists.
May assist with mentoring pharmacy technician I as assigned.
Performs more advanced pharmacy technician duties that may include billing and/or IV Clean Room responsibilities based on site specific needs.
May assist pharmacy management with administrative support duties
This is a full time position, generally Monday through Friday with day shifts floating at various sites. Includes $2,000 retention incentive and $3,000 relocation assistance to eligible new hires.

Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
Must remain in original department/specialty
Must remain in original Job Title
Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Experience/Specialized Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Pyxis experience preferred
Buyer/inventory experience preferred
Required Certification/Registration:
Current California Pharmacy Technician License.
Certification by a National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) required within 6 months of hire.
Minimum of 2 years of inpatient experience or a combination of inpatient experience and sterile compounding experience.
Required Education/Course(s)/Training:
5 year inpatient experience preferred.
