Qualifications

Education

• Required
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Experience:

• Required
  • Knowledge of medical laboratory practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of lab/reference manuals, formularies, ICD-10 book, and reference lab procedures

Certification/Licensure:

• Required
  • Basic Life Support
    • Required within ninety (90) days of start date
• Preferred
  • ASCP board of registry or equivalent
  • Certified phlebotomy technician
