Collects specimens for analysis by the laboratory and processes the finished reports; knows policies and procedures and adheres to everything; knows the importance of age-specific needs as defined in the age-specific competency checklist.

A Certified Phlebotomist certificate is required within a year upon beginning. The employee CPR certification is

required before working alone with patients
