JOB SUMMARY

• Properly collects and processes blood from donors/patients, checks quality of blood, and assumes responsibility for the safety and comfort of donors/patients, following established standards and practices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Education

• High school or equivalent

• Complete the on-the-job training program in 4-6 weeks

• Minimum Work Experience

• 6 months previous experience OR completion of a Phlebotomist training program

• Required Licenses/Certifications

• Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Maintain logs

• Designated Driver
