Physical Therapist
- DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
- Evaluates, directs, plans, and provides treatments for patients with a wide variety of disabilities to help them achieve a maximum level of functional independence. Documents patient care and results of treatment appropriately in the medical record to comply with policies and procedures of the department and regulatory agencies.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
- Experience:
- Two years experience preferred. Entry-level acceptable.
- Education and Training:
- Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in area of major.
- Ability to comprehend and write the English language.
- License, Certification & Registration:
- MAPT - Current MA license to practice physical therapy.
- CPR required.
- Other Requirements:
- Must possess sight/hearing senses to use prostheses that will enable these senses to function adequately so the requirements of the position can be fully met.
