Description:

In this role, the certified hand therapist provides therapy for hands, wrists, elbows and shoulders utilizing

occupational OR physical therapy techniques. You plan treatments according to your assessment of each individual

patient's needs. The therapy you provide helps the patient to gain use of the injured area, prevent future issues and

prevent deterioration. You'll likely work with individuals who've undergone surgery or sustained injuries to their hands,

and you'll help them regain enough use to carry out daily tasks or job skills. The ideal candidate must have a

compassionate personality, patience, and excellent communication skills to succeed in a career as a certified hand

therapist.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday. No Weekends!

Requirement(s):

▪ Hand Therapy Certification (HTC)

▪ Licensed Physical Therapist or Licensed Occupational Therapist

Qualifications: Shannon Clinic is seeking a certified hand physical or occupational therapist with a specialty in

rehabilitation therapies for hands, wrists, and arms. The ideal candidate must have a passion for high quality patient

care and one who is a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills to join our exceptional team in

beautiful San Angelo, TX. Shannon is locally owned, governed, and not-for-profit organization. We are the sole

healthcare system in San Angelo and surrounding cities.
