Under the general supervision of the Outpatient Physical Medicine Supervisor and a licensed Physical Therapist and according to standards of treatment, assists with objective assessments as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for patients of all age ranges, according to departmental policies and procedures. Supervisory responsibilities may include supervising physical therapist assistant students.
Education:Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Licensure: Current Oklahoma license for Certified Physical Therapist Assistant or eligible for Oklahoma licensure. Experience: One year clinical experience preferred but new graduates will be considered. Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently. Other: Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills required. Person must be able to work well with others and be flexible with regard to performing a variety of duties.
