Job DescriptionBioMechanic Physical Therapy has a permanent position available for a Medical Biller. At least 2 years experience is preferred. This position is intended for people who take pride in their work and have great attention to detail. Responsibilities of a Billing Assistant include: Entering patient charges and payments Submitting both electronic and paper claims Completing insurance verifications for both in and out of network Obtaining insurance pre-authorizations Posting payments Handling claim denials in a speedy manner Printing and mailing patient statements Following up on past due patient and insurance balances Completing medical records requests Answering billing questions from patients, reception, and clinical staff Our practice is open from 7:00am - 7:00pm, Monday through Friday. Hours and Salary are negotiable. Our clinic is open from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm. This position is full-time, work days are Monday through Friday and hours are negotiable.
