Physician Assistant

Responsible for providing medical care including assessing and managing patients in the office following established standards and scope of practice, and if deemed necessary first assist to the surgeons in the operating room and office call coverage. Conveys a positive image of Randolph Health at all times. Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university with a Bachelors of Science degree in Physician Assisting. Must be licensed by the State of North Carolina as a PA-C. Maintain appropriate DEA licensure. Current ACLS and BLS, and PAL certification (if serving pediatric population). Knowledge of ICD9 and CPT coding; strong assessment skills; ability to prescribe medication appropriately; ability to work independently. New graduates acceptable. One or more years experience preferable but not required.
