Physician Assistant

Summary

The Physician Assistant provides direct patient care of urgent and non-urgent pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients who present to the Emergency Department. Patient care will remain within the scope of MD Board of Physician Quality Assurance practice under supervision of on site emergency department attending physicians.

Requirements

-Graduate of an accredited Physicians Assistant school.

-Emergency Department experience is desirable but not essential.

-Must possess a State of Maryland Physician Assistant License.

-NCCPA Board Certification or eligibility.

-Must have experience in wound management, suturing, and splinting
