Physician Assistant

Position Summary

Involves patient care, educational and research activities.

Primary Position Responsibilities

1. Employee health and wellness.

2. Occupational injuries/illness.

3. Pre-placement examinations.

4. TB surveillance and immunization program.

5. DOT and OSHA evaluations.

6. Drug and alcohol testing.

7. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant

Preferred:

Master's Degree in Physician Assistant

Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

Required:

1 year of practice as a PA in OH, urgent care, primary care or emergency medicine.

Preferred:

None

License, Registry or Certification:

Required:
• Bachelor's Degree from an education program accredited by the ARC-PA certification from the NCCPA.
• Current and active licensure from the NJ State board of medical Examiners PA Advisory Committee.

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

Required:

Vaccine administration, PPD placement

Preferred:

Venipuncture, suturing, UDS, BAT, vision screen, audiometric test, spirometry, EKG, respirator fit test, electronic medical records
