Position Summary
Looking for a flexible moonlighting opportunity where you can make a meaningful impact? The Columbus Organization is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support a 25-bed inpatient mental health facility in Central Vermont.
This is an ideal opportunity for a provider seeking supplemental income, flexibility, or additional clinical experience in a collaborative, team-oriented behavioral health setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical assessments for new admissions by the next business day
- Provide medical consultations and follow-up care as requested by psychiatry staff
- Support and implement patient wellness initiatives in collaboration with the care team
- Attend administrative, medical staff, and educational meetings as directed
- Deliver comprehensive care within an inpatient psychiatric setting
Qualifications
- Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active, unrestricted license in Vermont or eligible for Vermont licensure
- Eligible for clinical privileges in an inpatient psychiatric setting
- Experience with diverse patient populations preferred
