Compensation: $108K - $128K based on experience and credentials

What You'll Do

As a Physician Assistant, you will provide primary and preventive healthcare services in a clinic-based setting. You will work collaboratively with physicians, providers, nursing, behavioral health, dental, care management, and other team members to support patient-centered outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide primary and preventive care for patients.
  • Perform exams, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and treatment regimens within scope of practice.
  • Order, review, and follow up on labs, imaging, x-rays, EKGs, and other diagnostic testing.
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, prevention, and wellness.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Perform routine in-office procedures within training, competency, and scope.
  • Treat minor injuries, including suturing, splinting, and casting as appropriate.
  • Recognize and triage urgent or emergent medical concerns.
  • Collaborate with the care team to support whole-person, coordinated care.
  • Participate in quality improvement and support established clinical protocols.
  • Assist with flexible coverage as needed to support patient care and clinic operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current Montana Physician Assistant license.
  • Full prescriptive authority.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Family Practice.
  • Familiarity with EHR/EMR programs.
  • Valid Montana driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of clinical experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers for patient care and computer work, communicate clearly, and occasionally lift or move up to 40 pounds. Occasional travel to other clinic sites may be required.

Working Conditions

This position primarily works indoors in a clinical healthcare environment and is classified as OSHA Exposure Category 1, meaning there may be exposure or potential exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
