Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

NP or PA for urgent care clinic.

Qualifications  PA-C with minimum 2 years of urgent care or Emergency.   Clean background, licensed or eligible for licensure in NC.  DOT certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.  Competencies include: laceration repairs, incision and drainage, splints.  Ability to work effectively both independently and with others.  Appreciates and thrives in a more rural environment.  Proficient with computers, dictation systems and portable devices.  Knowledge of medical theory and equipment necessary to provide and evaluate high level of patient care.  Demonstrated ability in the following areas: o Anticipating and reacting calmly to emergency situations; o Identifying problems and researching and identifying effective resolution; o Preparing records, writing reports, responding to correspondence and developing and maintaining required quality assurance; o Exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making. o Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, administration, medical staff and the public.

Compensation and Benefits  Salary up to $120,000 based on experience.  Quality and productivity incentive plans.  20+ days of Annual Time Off.  Up to $2,500 reimbursement for CME and other professional expenses per fiscal year.  Malpractice insurance, including tail.  Relocation reimbursement up to $10,000.  Comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life, disability, wellness incentive, 3 long term savings plans, child care facility and fitness centers.
