NP or PA for urgent care clinic.
Qualifications PA-C with minimum 2 years of urgent care or Emergency. Clean background, licensed or eligible for licensure in NC. DOT certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. Competencies include: laceration repairs, incision and drainage, splints. Ability to work effectively both independently and with others. Appreciates and thrives in a more rural environment. Proficient with computers, dictation systems and portable devices. Knowledge of medical theory and equipment necessary to provide and evaluate high level of patient care. Demonstrated ability in the following areas: o Anticipating and reacting calmly to emergency situations; o Identifying problems and researching and identifying effective resolution; o Preparing records, writing reports, responding to correspondence and developing and maintaining required quality assurance; o Exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making. o Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, administration, medical staff and the public.
Compensation and Benefits Salary up to $120,000 based on experience. Quality and productivity incentive plans. 20+ days of Annual Time Off.
