Physician - General Surgery

Gifford is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Surgeon to join our Critical Access Hospital (CAH) as a full-time, employed physician. This role is ideal for a dedicated generalist who thrives in a close-knit, community-oriented healthcare environment. The position offers a balanced work-life dynamic with limited call responsibilities.

This role includes a blend of clinic, endoscopy, and operative time, with a typical case mix that includes routine general surgery, common abdominal and soft-tissue procedures, and both upper and lower endoscopy. Additional responsibilities include inpatient consultation during clinic hours, peri-operative care, wound management, and minor in-office procedures when appropriate.

Requirements:

• Board certified or eligible
