Practice Operations Administrator
Position Summary
The Practice Operations Administrator serves as a key operational support to all Appalachian Regional Medical Associates (ARMA) Practice Managers within. This role is designed as a management training position, preparing the individual to step into a Practice Manager role as needed. The Administrator provides hands-on assistance with clinic operations, staff development, workflow optimization, and compliance oversight across multiple practice sites.
By working alongside 10 Practice Managers, the Practice Operations Administrator helps ensure operational consistency, fills leadership gaps during vacancies or leaves, and supports strategic initiatives aimed at improving quality, patient satisfaction, and retention. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with education and experience with a starting hourly rate of $31.83. This is an exempt position.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinic Operations & Compliance: Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. Support process improvements and workflow optimization.
- Team Leadership & Development: Mentor clinic managers and staff, support performance development, and foster a positive, collaborative work environment aligned with organizational culture.
- Financial & Resource Management: Assist in budget planning, monitor clinic financial performance, and collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate billing and revenue processes.
- Patient Experience & Quality Care: Promote exceptional patient care through effective communication, service excellence, and the implementation of quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Recruitment & Talent Support: Assist with hiring, onboarding, and retaining staff. Ensure proper training and consistent application of policies and procedures.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Education
- Associate's Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field is required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience
- Proven experience in clinic or healthcare management.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Required Registration/License/Certification
- Certification in healthcare management or related field is a plus.

- In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations.

Physical Demands

Working Conditions

- Requires travel between ARMA clinic locations.
- May require occasional evening or weekend hours to accommodate operational needs.
