Primary care- Physician

Duration: 3 Months (with a possibility of permanent extension)

Shift: 08:00 am-05:00 pm (M-F)

Job description:

• Primary care physician is required to provide basic medical care to our patients. The hospital currently serves approximately 320 patients with an average length of stay measured in months to years. Our clients' ages range from early adulthood into their 80's, so there are a wide range of both health maintenance and treatment needs to be provided.
• You will be working with a staff of professionals where the culture is collaborative, and the energy is high. Patient loads are relatively low (60-80 long-term patients total, usually seeing less than 10 patients per day) and you will collaborate with other primary care physicians and nurse practitioners, along with psychiatrists/psychiatric NP's and other treatment team members on the wards to which you are assigned.

Requirement:

• A full and unrestricted Missouri license is preferred, but we will consider applicants who have completed academic training but are currently unlicensed.
