Practice Overview
This long-standing, highly successful private radiology practice has been serving the Central Valley community for 75 years. Comprised of 20 radiologists, the group is tightly knit and places a high value on office camaraderie and mutual support. The practice is subspecialized and dedicated to providing comprehensive diagnostic radiology services, including X-ray (XR), computed tomography (CT), ultrasound (US), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Radiologists cover both emergency room and inpatient cases, ensuring consistent and quality care.
Work Schedule and Flexibility
Flexible scheduling options are available, with the standard work hours set at Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST. Additionally, each radiologist is expected to participate in onsite or hybrid coverage for one weekend per month. This flexibility allows for a work-life balance tailored to individual preferences.
Compensation, Benefits, and Incentives
Radiologists in this practice can earn up to $750,000, with compensation structured at $42 per relative value unit (RVU). A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are offered for those joining onsite. After one year, physicians are eligible for a partner track, which includes a leadership incentive. The practice is generous with paid time off, offering between 8 and 12 weeks annually.
Qualifications
Candidates are preferred to hold a California medical license, although it is not required. Board certification is necessary, and all experience levels are welcome, including new graduates. The group is also able to sponsor H-1 and J-1 visa candidates.
