PRN Breast Pathologist
Position Summary:
The Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a PRN Breast Pathologist to join our Department of Pathology. In this role, you will provide expert diagnostic support to our Breast Pathology service, primarily by assisting with the sign-out of assigned breast pathology cases.
Requirements:
- Applicants must have completed a fellowship in a Pathology sub-specialty or have at least 5 years of Pathology experience.
- Candidates must hold, or be eligible for, a Florida Medical license, and be Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology or have board certification eligibility.
- Successful applicants will have extensive experience signing out Breast pathology cases or have completed a fellowship in Breast Pathology with at least two years post-fellowship experience in Breast case sign-out.
- Prior experience in an academic multidisciplinary university clinical setting is preferred.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in Breast Pathology within a high-volume academic environment and maintain a strong commitment to diagnostic excellence consistent with the standards of a major academic cancer center.

Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute is Florida's only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. We are expanding our faculty to meet substantial institutional growth. The Cancer Center comprises a large, 3 facility ambulatory care practice, a 110-bed medical oncology hospital, with a 36-bed blood and marrow transplant program, a 128-bed surgical hospital with 19 state of the art operating suites, a high-volume screening program, and a basic science research facility.
