Position: Registered Nurse Psych
Location: Butner, NC 27509
Shift timing: 6:30 AM to 7 PM

Key Responsibilities
Assess, observe, and communicate with patients regarding their health needs.
Record patient details, symptoms, medical history, and current health conditions.
Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patients for side effects and reactions.
Create, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the medical team.
Perform wound care, including cleaning and bandaging wounds.
Assist with medical procedures as needed.
Operate and monitor medical equipment.
Collect blood, urine, and other body fluid samples for laboratory testing.
Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans and ongoing care.
Answer patient and family questions and provide appropriate nursing guidance.
Supervise LPNs/LVNs, nursing assistants, and nursing students as required.

Requirements
Minimum 1 year of Psychiatric RN experience
Active RN license
Recent Psych / Behavioral Health nursing experience
