What You'll Be Doing
We are seeking a board-certified Radiation Oncologist to join our team of highly skilled medical professionals. The successful candidate is responsible for diagnosing and treating cancer patients using radiation therapy. This role collaborates with other medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the patients we serve.
The position is a full-time Radiation Oncologist role:
- Responsible for all aspects of patient care including consultation, simulate, planning, treatment and follow-up
- Develop a radiation therapy plan based on the patient's individual needs
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with the prescribed plan
- Monitor patients' responses to therapy and adjust plans as necessary
- Provide patient education on radiation therapy and its effects
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all treatments
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and success of treatments
- Collaborate with other medical professionals as needed
- Maintain current unrestricted NJ medical license, CDS and DEA
What We're Looking For
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
- Residency or Fellowship trained in Radiation Oncology.
- Board certification in Radiation Oncology
- Unrestricted New Jersey License
- Stay current on advances in radiation therapy and medical treatments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work collaboratively with a team of medical professionals
- Able to make decisions and act in the best interests of the patient
