Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Board-Certified General Radiologist for an on-site locum tenens assignment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a general reading workload, basic Mammography, and light Interventional Radiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology readings, including basic Mammography and light Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures.
• Comfortably manage procedural volumes related to image-guided biopsies and drainages (US & CT-guided).
• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as Lumbar Punctures, Myelograms, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Arthrograms, Joint Aspirations, and Injections.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Radiology required.
• Tomosynthesis (3D Mammography) Training required.
• Proficiency with Synapse PACS and PowerScribe dictation tools.
• Ability to handle light IR procedural volumes comfortably.

Skills

• Technical proficiency in Meditech Expanse (EMR), Synapse (PACS), and PowerScribe (Dictation).
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
