Radiology Clinical Instructor
To provide effective clinical education, supervision, and clinical evaluation of assigned radiologic technologist students; collaborate with the college RT program director and the Director of Imaging Services in planning and implementing educational activities for affiliating students; develop or assist in the curriculum development for students, consistent with national standards; utilize a variety of teaching strategies to ensure expected outcomes and competencies; assess and reassess learning needs and competency development, including those that are age-appropriate; develop or assist in developing the student educational policies and appropriate mechanisms to monitor same; review positioning, protocols, and radiation safety, along with general healthcare safety. Works collaboratively with the college RT program director and the Medical Center's Director of Imaging Services. Performing diagnostic x-rays on patients of all ages utilizing established department procedures.
REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology; Current license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Radiologic Technologist and ARRT certificate; Four years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, plus two years of experience as a clinical instructor of radiology students is preferable.
