RADIOLOGY STUDENT INTERN ALLIANCE - IMAGING

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The purpose of the student radiography internship is to allow select students to begin the transition from student to Registered Radiologic Technologist. The Student Radiographer Intern provides support to the patient care team, by performing direct patient care, under the direction of a Registered Technologist.

Upon completion of required radiography preceptorship hours, colleagues will function within the responsibilities and expectations listed under the "Post-Preceptorship".

QUALIFICATIONS

• Senior Level students entering the final semester are enrolled in the accredited Aultman Radiography program.
• Students must be in good standing and enrolled in a radiography course requiring concurrent preceptorship in a clinical setting with a letter of recommendation.
• AHA Healthcare Provider Training is required (BLS)
• Adheres to the hospital attendance policy and will make every effort to consistently be punctual when reporting to work and during daily activities.
• Basic computer skills are required
