Radiology Tech Student PRN
- JOB RELATIONSHIPS
- Responsible to: Radiology/Imaging Manager and Department Director
- DEFINITION OF POSITION
- Responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures and patient safety protocols. Assists registered Radiologic technologists with Patient preparation, positioning, and operationg imaging equipment. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional
- High school graduate and currently enrolled in an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained and have completed the first year.
- Current BLS/CPR credentials with AHA program
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
