Radiology Technologist

POSITION PURPOSE

The Radiologist Technologist position is responsible for using medical imaging equipment to create pictures of a patient's body, which allows doctors to diagnose and treat injuries and diseases.

MINIMUM MANDATORY qualifications
Experience:

EDUCATION:

• One (1) year experience and knowledge of Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and Computer Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• An Associate's Degree from an accredited school or college program in Radiology Technology is required.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Current State of New Mexico Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program Licensure (NMMIRT)
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred qualifications

• One (1) year of Radiology Experience
