Performs radiography procedures utilizing ionizing radiation and diagnostic radiography equipment. Provides direct patient care to patients of all ages. Contributes to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring quality and continuity of patient care.

Assists a physician during patient encounters. Maintains medical records information for patient visits, referrals, assists front office staff with insurance pre-certification information and billing information to complete the patient office encounter. Required to work all shifts as needed, including some weekends. Frequent travel to multiple office locations. Offer friendly, courteous, and confidential assistance to every patient to ensure that the patient has a positive experience while at Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Surgery.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Associates Degree
• Certificate Program-CT

License, Certification, etc:

• BLS
• ARRT
• Certified CT Preferred

Experience:

Minimum

• 6 months radiology experience

Preferred

• 2 years > in a hospital radiology department
