Recreation Therapist

Job Summary: Screen patients regarding their level of interest/participation in leisure and relaxation activities and any limitation decreasing their ability to participate. Provide activities to enhance the mental, emotional and physical well being of patients.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in recreational therapy or therapeutic recreation from an accredited school which includes an internship and a license to practice recreational therapy by the North Carolina Board of Recreational Therapy Licensure). Must have and maintain current and valid North Carolina license to practice as a Recreation Therapist. Must maintain BLS certification.
