NMC is currently recruiting for a RN in the Operating Room.This position is a full-time (80 hours bi-weekly) position, hours are 6:30a-3p or 6:30a-5p. Call rotation on evenings (5p-7p) and weekends (Sat/Sun).
JOB SUMMARY:
The RN provides safe patient care in a fast passed Operating Room having the opportunity to function in the circulator and scrub roles. OR staff has exposure to all services we offer including General surgery, Orthopedics, GYN, ENT, Ophthalmology, Urology and Plastic surgery. OR staff is also trained in Endoscopy and Minor surgery in our OPD department.
PREREQUISITES:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with current licensure as a RN in Vermont, BS preferred
Experience: Successful completion of Surgical Services orientation
Certifications Required: BLS required; ACLS, PALS, CNOR recommended
