REGISTERED NURSE

• DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
  • Registered Nurse who actively participates in procedures conducted in the scope of the cardiology services both diagnostic non-invasive and invasive. Assists in patient and staff education. May assist with the pre and post care of patients having procedures in the Vascular Laboratory.
• QUALIFICATIONS
  • Professional/Educational
    • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
    • Current Illinois license with biennial renewal.
    • Completion of an arrhythmia interpretation course.
    • ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
    • Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
    • PALS certification recommended.
    • DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
  • Personal
    • Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy.
    • Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability.
    • Possesses the ability to work under pressure.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
