Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Contract)
Location: Springfield Illinois
Start Date: August 18, 2025
⏱ Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Job Summary:

Protouch Staffing is seeking skilled Labor & Delivery RNs for a 13-week assignment in Illinois. Provide high-quality care through labor, delivery, and postpartum in a dynamic maternity unit.

✅ Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of recent L&D experience

• EMR: Cerner (preferred)

Required Certifications:

• BLS

• ACLS

• NRP

• AWHONN Beginner (Intermediate preferred)

• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)

Core Skills:

• Vaginal & C-Section delivery support

• OB triage, NSTs, and fetal monitoring

• Medication administration: Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, etc.

• Postpartum recovery & newborn care

• Breastfeeding and discharge education

Preferred Experience:

• Charge nurse duties
