Registered Nurse (RN General, Dialysis, Mental Health)

Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (2nd shift), Sunday & Monday off (flexibility required)
Duration: Long-term assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care to patients, perform rounds, assess symptoms, record progress, and administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and provide immediate medical attention in emergencies.
• Supervise and coordinate care plans, assist physicians, and train or orient new staff.
• Perform specialized procedures such as IV therapy, chemotherapy, wound care, oxygen therapy, dialysis, blood transfusions, intubation, CPR, tube feeding, catheterization, suctioning, and phlebotomy.
• Organize and lead the ‘code blue’ emergency team; act as lead nurse in absence of higher-level staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation including medication records, incident reports, and inventory of controlled drugs and supplies.
• Arrange outpatient appointments, prescriptions, and medical examinations.
• Participate in staff meetings, serve as instructor, and contribute to problem-solving teams.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio
• Minimum Education: High School Diploma
• Licensure Required: Active RN license in the State of Ohio
• Certifications: Current BLS/CPR Certification
