Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Psych/Mental Health
Location: Central Regional Hospital, Butner, NC
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Pay Rate: $55/hour
Shifts Available:
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Job Description: We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our Psych/Mental Health team. Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, observing, and communicating with patients
- Recording medical history and current health details
- Preparing patients for exams and treatments
- Administering medications and monitoring for side effects
- Creating and evaluating patient care plans with the medical team
- Performing wound care and assisting in medical procedures
- Operating and monitoring medical equipment
- Collecting lab samples (blood, urine, etc.)
- Educating patients and families on care plans
- Supervising LPNs, CNAs, and nursing students
Required Documentation (Pre‑submission):
- BLS Certification
- COVID Vaccination Card
- Driver’s License
- 2 References from past managers (within last 2 years)
- Signed Criminal Consent Form
- Updated Resume
- Active NC RN License (mandatory)
Post‑submission Documentation:
- Medical Clearance Certificate/Letter
- MMR (2 doses)
- Varicella (2 doses)
- TDAP
- TB Test
- COVID Vaccination Card
