A sleep (polysomnographic) technologist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in-center and home sleep apnea testing (HSAT), diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and comprehensive patient care.
-Minimum one (1) year of relevant sleep lab experience.
-One of the following is required:
-Associate's Degree in Polysomnographic Technology.
-Completion of a certificate program in Polysomnographic Technology.
-BLS (American Heart Assoc.).
--One of the following is required:
-Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic technologists.
-Registered Sleep Technologist – American Board of Sleep Medicine.
