REGISTRATION REP - OUTPATIENT FOR MUNSTER LOCATION

MON THRU FRI 9:30AM-6PM EVERY OTHER SATURDAY 6:30AM-3PM

ALTERNATE SCHEDULE WILL INCLUDE: 11AM-7:30PM FOR COVERAGE AT OFFSITE DIAGNOSTIC CENTER

POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
Processes the admission/registration function for patients entering the health care organization in accordance with all hospital policies.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 1-year business related experience preferred
• Basic Medical Terminology preferred
• Basic health insurance knowledge preferred
• Proficiency in computer data/typing. Ability to type 35 wpm. Basic computer skills
• Epic experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous customer service skills required
• Ability to prioritize, concentrate, multi-task and ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
