The Research Enrollment Analyst 1 learns to enroll participants in research projects and assist with other research-related study duties in various research projects that furthers the goals of the Investigator and the Research Departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Communicates with research participants via phone calls, mail-outs and Internet to maintain the highest level of research participant retention possible. Maintains relationships with targeted research communities.
Enters new research participants in spreadsheets and updates existing databases. Maintains the consent forms and assists the CRC with office support.
Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures and standards of JCAHO, federal, state and local governments.
Attends research meetings, reads assigned literature, and occasionally makes presentations on projects at the request of the Investigator.
Assists research physicians with study proposal development.
Assists with the preparation of documentation for the Principal Investigators (PIs) and research studies that ensures compliance with regulations and submissions required for current research projects. Assists in maintaining regulatory binders.
Assists research staff to ensure that applicable study supplies are received prior to study initiation and throughout the study period.
Collaborates with PIs to establish and implement data collection procedures and protocols. Reviews data for completion and quality control, and prepares data for further analysis.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
Good written and oral communication skills.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office; database experience preferred.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to manage time sensitive projects in order to meet deadlines.
