Research Nurse (Long Beach)

Irvine Clinical Research is the largest independent clinical trial group on the West Coast. Most of our research is in neurology (Alzheimer's Disease treatment and prevention studies); we also conduct trials in psychiatry and obesity medicine. The Research Nurse will work with our team of providers on Phase II/III clinical trials, especially studies of investigational drugs that are infused into study participants. This position will be at our Long Beach site.

Job Duties

• Administer study drug per protocol for several research trials, especially IV infusion studies in older adults
• Monitor post-dose participant safety per protocol
• Check vitals, perform EKGs, or perform blood draws as needed
• Produce attributable, legible, contemporaneous, original, and accurate study data
• Perform study procedures in accordance with GCP and study protocols

Job Requirements

• Valid California nursing license (RN)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks with precision
• A command of professional spoken and written English

$80,000 - $85,000 a year

Hours and Compensation

This is a full-time employment position based in-person at our clinic in Long Beach, CA. The starting salary for this position is $80,000 per year.
