Gifford Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in our Birthing Center in Randolph, VT. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessment, care, education, and documentation as well as providing care to post-op GYN patients.

This position is responsible for providing direct patient care for antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum women. He/She will also provide care to both well and at-risk newborns; stabilization and transport of infants requiring ICN care and mothers requiring care at a tertiary care center.

Strong time management/organization skills, ability to multi-task and communicate effectively in a professional manner are fundamental to the role.

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Vermont
• BLS certification
• NRP certification required or must be completed by the end of unit orientation
• Experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, or NICU preferred
• Documentation of AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course (or equivalent) within the past two years preferred
