RN correction

Job Title: RN-Correctional

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Shift: 3:00 PM -11:30 PM

Duration :14 weeks assignment

40 hours /week- Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat

• Must have assessment experience.

• Must be able to draw blood

• Must be willing to float to another facility if needed

• Must be able to work every other weekend.

Job responsibilities:

• Providing direct medical care like administering medications and wound care, managing both acute
and chronic illnesses, responding to emergencies, and performing initial health assessments upon
admission.

• They also educate patients, coordinate with other healthcare providers for continuity of care,
document patient health, and work with correctional officers to ensure safety.

• Duties can range from routine tasks, like wound care and administering medications, to dealing with
hunger strikes.

• Many of your responsibilities may involve patient education.

• You might teach inmates everyday health skills like how to control their diabetes, make good food
choices and develop better coping skills.
