RN - Emergency Room (Evening Shift)

Shift: Week 1 Wed/Sat/Sun Week 2 Mon, Thurs, Fri, every other weekend, every other holiday

POSITION OVERVIEW:

To plan and provide for total patient care through the use of the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. To direct and guide patient teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with current Iowa RN license
• BCLS, ACLS as indicated by the area of responsibility
• Experience preferred, but not required

ACCOUNTABILITY:

Reports to unit Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, or House Supervisor
