Job Description:

Our client in Southern Oregon is seeking a permanent Nightshift Nurse to work in the Emergency Department. New Graduates are welcome to apply. 1+ year of nursing experience in the field is preferred. Associates or bachelor's degree in nursing is required.

Job Responsibilities of the Permanent RN:

• Provides patient and family focused care as defined by licensure, as part of the health care team, in accordance with corporate mission, policies, procedures, and department philosophy.
• Applies current and established standards for professional nursing practice.
• Maintains a current awareness of the abilities and limitations of each staff member and assigns duties appropriate to each individual.
• Demonstrates patients plan of care by setting outcomes, follow through and documents progress/lack of progress and teaching efforts during every shift worked.
• Assesses the patient and implements appropriate nursing actions to meet the patient's physical, emotional, spiritual, social and intellectual needs; documents those needs with appropriate multidisciplinary approach, in a clear, concise, objective and legible way.

Requirements of the Nurse:

• ASN or BSN
• May consider new graduates, 1+ year in nursing preferred
