The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City located in Kansas City, MO is hiring for a Registered Nurse for their new Progressive Care Unit. This location is a Magnet designated facility and a leader in Academic Medical Centers. As a nurse on this team, you can care for a variety of conditions and treatments. This position will allow you to build relationships with your patients in a positive environment led by supportive and engaging leadership that believes in developing a strength driven career.

Saint Luke’s hospital is a magnet designated facility with level one trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, nationally ranked in the top 25 hospitals for cardiology and heart surgery. This location has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the elite hospitals in the nation.

Shift Details: 6:45 pm to 7:15 am

The Work:

Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.

Job Requirements

Applicable Experience:

2 years

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
