Our assisted living community is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN helps to fulfill the care requirements of our residents. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the successful candidate will work within their entire scope of practice. The RN will be fully accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all residents. In addition to Lorien’s infection prevention and control program, we are proactively enhancing HVAC systems and installing commercial air purification devices. This technology actively attacks airborne mold, bacteria and viruses. We use 36 ? sanitizing sprayers and have ample PPE. Lorien continues to take the steps to keep employees and residents safe. Must possess an unencumbered Registered Nurse license with the Maryland Board of Nursing authorizing eligibility to work in a Maryland Long-term care facility. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public Must be able to follow oral and written instructions Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, the appearance of work areas, and proper performance of assigned duties Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace Lorien Health Services is an Equal Opportunity employer.
