RN Supervisor (SVD-NL)

Live Oak Retirement Community is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide supervision and guidance to their nursing staff with a focus on providing quality wound care and staff education. This leadership role allows flexible scheduling for the RN supervisor rotating four 10hr shifts a week and every other weekend.

The right candidate would have the skills to assess and implement weekly treatment plans for resident wounds according to the facility policies. Willis Knighton can provide the training/certification for this specialized role. The RN will adjust staffing in accordance with resident needs, as well as participate in Quality Improvement activities. Live Oak prides itself on teamwork. Alongside the team of leaders, this RN Supervisor will implement best practice for the nursing process carried out by the unit managers, team of LPNs and CNAs. As a resource to the staff, this supervisor should possess the soft skills to support his/her team and lead with compassion for our senior population.

The individual selected for this position must have a current LA RN License. Those with experience in management and/or long-term care will be considered first. If the RN is not currently certified in wound care, this training will be provided for you to support you in this role.
