School Speech-Language Pathologist
Make a meaningful impact on student success while growing your career! Cross Country Education is seeking a forward-thinking Speech-Language Pathologist to help students find their voices and overcome communication barriers in Cary, NC, during the 2026-2027 school year.
Position Overview:
- Conduct assessments and interpret results to differentiate language disorders from dialectal differences while clearly communicating findings to families and educational teams.
- Design and deliver high-quality therapy in individual and group sessions using creative resources to drive measurable student progress.
- Manage the end-of-year IEP process within while ensuring compliance with IDEA and Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) requirements, and state guidelines.
- Partner with educators and parents while maintaining adaptability regarding scheduling and school assignments.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and an active NPI number
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a school-based setting (Required); Two or more years preferred
- Experience with Medicaid billing systems preferred; ability to pass required background clearances, including fingerprinting for preschool settings
