Pay:  $26.00 – $35.06 per hour, commensurate with experience

About the Role

We are a busy vascular surgery clinic seeking an experienced Scrub Technician to join our surgical team. You will work directly alongside our vascular surgeon to ensure safe, efficient, and sterile surgical procedures in an outpatient clinic setting. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for a candidate who takes pride in precision, teamwork, and patient care. 

Responsibilities

•    Scrub and assist during vascular surgical procedures including endovascular, open vascular, and minor office-based procedures

•       Prepare and maintain the sterile field before, during, and after procedures

•       Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies prior to each case

•       Pass instruments and anticipate surgeon needs throughout procedures

•    Perform counts of instruments, sponges, and sharps with the circulating nurse

•       Assist with patient positioning and draping

•  Maintain inventory of surgical supplies and notify appropriate staff of shortages

•       Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols

•       Support room turnover between cases

 Requirements

•       Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program

•       CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification preferred or eligibility to sit for exam

•       Minimum 1 year of scrub experience in a surgical setting (vascular or OR experience a plus)

•       Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation

•       Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment

•       Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player

•       Must be authorized to work in the United States
