OR Technician
Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a OR Technician to join our team in the Operating Room at the main hospital in Bolivar, Missouri - someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.
Position Details
- Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
- Work Shift: Days
- Hours: 72 hours every 2 weeks, 7am-5:30pm
What Your Day Looks Like: The OR consists of 23 active surgeons who perform an average of 372 surgeries/month. The OR has 6 outpatient, 3 inpatient, and 1 C-section designated suites that run 4 teams of staff each day. The surgeons work to educate, train, and develop staff to operate fluidly together.
As an OR Technician, you will be:
- Maintaining a safe and clean patient care environment
- Assisting with supplies and needs of the department, perioperative care of the patient
- Preparing the operating room and equipment
- Providing support to physicians and nurses while the procedure is underway
- Handling specimens collected
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma required
Skills: Patient care
Licensure/Certification: BLS within 6 months of hire
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift, pull, or transfer up to 50 lbs.
